BUTTERFLY WISHES & FLOWER KISSES!
Another fun adventure we took while in Seattle for spring break was to visit the Butterfly exhibit at the Pacific Science Center. This was such a wonderful highlight of our trip... As soon as you walk through the doors to this exhibit, it is like being embraced by Spring. The warm air flows over you like a soft summer breeze and the fragrance of fresh flowers brings a smile to your senses. Scott and I wandered about doing our best to keep watch over our children while passing the camera back and forth to one another. I love that we share our passion for photography together, it has truly brought us closer as a couple and has encouraged us to see beauty in everyday life. Photography has helped us to dream in new ways and also appreciate and be present in the moment we're in! Hope you enjoy this walk through the garden...Keep your eyes wide open and watch your step... one of these beauties might just land on you!

WISDOM!
Life is short, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.
Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly shouting, 'Wow! What a ride! Thank You, Lord!!
APHORISM:

Seattle for Spring Break!
This is a very precious picture to me. Here my children are looking above to the towering Space Needle...the very place their grandparents met and fell in love some 46 years ago at the Worlds Fair in 1962! Papa Doug was a young strapping guard on the Seattle Center Fair grounds while Grandma Jeri was flying high at her job as the very first elevator operator at the Space Needle. To say the least Seattle is a very special place to our family. The Space needle stands as a firm tall tower of remembrance and Love. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the sights.
We took time to make some wishes...
We played with all the many toys at the Science Center and
had fun as a family and laughed a ton!

COLORFUL EGGS!
I love Easter... I love that spring is here and that life is becoming more colorful once again. I especially love picking out special treats for Easter baskets for my kids and enjoying coloring Easter eggs as a family. Since we have little ones ages 6 and almost 3, every holiday is filled with much excitement and anticipation. Besides Easter bunnies, jelly beans and chocolate... our central focus is to celebrate with hearts of gratitude that which Christ did for us. May you be blessed this Easter as you reflect on the awesome gift our Savior has given.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!
Here are some spectacular pictures of SPRING "springing" taken by Scott and some of the teens in his youth group. They made a recent trip to California to visit Simpson University and Scott spent some of their down time giving photo tips. I am so glad they took the camera with them. Wow... beautiful pictures you guys... you have inspired me beyond belief.

MY SISTER, THE HORSE TRAINER!
My sister is an amazing horse trainer. She speciallizes in training Tennessee Walkers and Rockey Mountain Horses. A LITTLE GIRL'S DREAM!
Here's my little girl, enjoying a dream come true! Meet Auntie Allison! Isn't she beautiful! Ever since we where young our family has been in love with horses, so much so that my folks left theIr city life to live the life of island farmers and horse handlers and my sister became a full time horse trainer. Now that I have kids of my own, the love of horse back riding and showing is quickly being passed to the next generation. My daughter Makayla had her first pony by her 2nd birthday and was in the showring by age 3. Here are some highlights of Makayla's horsemanship journey thus far. Thanks to Auntie, Grandma Jeri and Pa-pa Doug!
