JUST PICKIN DAISIES!
Here's my little man, picking mommy daisies! There's no place I would rather be, than on the receiving end of this little guys hugs, smiles, kisses and small gifts he is constantly bringing me. Well I suppose I could pass on the occasional worm or beetle. Naaa...their sweet too!

NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP
I was surfing other blogs a few days ago and I came across a post about an amazing non-profit organization called,"Now I lay me down to sleep Foundation".
The Now I Lay me down to sleep foundation (NILMDTS) administers a network of nearly 3,000 volunteer professional photographers in the United States and eight International countries. At a family's request, a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer will come to your hospital or hospice location and conduct a sensitive and private portrait session. The portraits are then professionally retouched and presented to the families on an archival DVD or CD that can be used to print portraits of their cherished baby.

My heart pounds at the thought of being able to bless a family in their time of grief with images of their precious life lost. I am going to prayerfully consider this opportunity as it is my hearts desire to have photography glorify God and be a means to not only bring joy but also comfort others. I experienced an early miscarriage between my first and second child. I have also walk with several friends and relatives who lost their precious babies within days and even moments after birth. I have also been raised in the knowledge that if my two brothers before me had survived, I would not have had a chance at life. My parents only wanted two children, so I and my older sister, where the chosen two, to survive out of four pregnancies.
I don't know if I would be strong enough to get through this kind of a photo session, but if God willing...He would give me strength. I just wanted to share this info for any fellow photographers who might want to volunteer their talents at such a tender time.

Pregnancy and birth are miraculous journeys. This amazing time of life is full of mystery, anticipation, joy, hope, and wonder. Feeling the powerful energy of birth and new life, watching as a new family is born unto each other. These things humble and amaze. These are the things that we celebrate when a baby is born.
But there is another aspect of pregnancy and birth. There is an unexpected place in this journey where some families may find themselves. When a baby dies, a world is turned upside down. There is confusion, sadness, fear, and uncertainty that cannot be explained. There is sorrow where there should have been joy. During this time, it might be impossible for families to know what they might need in order to heal in the future.
Our entire network of affiliated professional photographers graciously donate their time and talents to our families and we are proud to be able to offer our services at no cost.Your Donations are greatly needed and greatly appreciated.

BLESSED FRIENDSHIPS!
One of the most treasured gifts in life is friendships. It's such a challenge to see everyone when we travel home for visits. On our last trip home, this is the clan we got to hang with for a bit. These are some pics from our times together over the years. Thank you for being hearts that care deeply. You have been more than a blessing in our lives, you have been a great source of strength, wisdom and encouragement through every season. We love you, miss you and thank you so very much for your friendship. It was so good to be together and pick up where we left off...with much love and laughter as always! BUTTERFLY WISHES & FLOWER KISSES!
Another fun adventure we took while in Seattle for spring break was to visit the Butterfly exhibit at the Pacific Science Center. This was such a wonderful highlight of our trip... As soon as you walk through the doors to this exhibit, it is like being embraced by Spring. The warm air flows over you like a soft summer breeze and the fragrance of fresh flowers brings a smile to your senses. Scott and I wandered about doing our best to keep watch over our children while passing the camera back and forth to one another. I love that we share our passion for photography together, it has truly brought us closer as a couple and has encouraged us to see beauty in everyday life. Photography has helped us to dream in new ways and also appreciate and be present in the moment we're in! Hope you enjoy this walk through the garden...Keep your eyes wide open and watch your step... one of these beauties might just land on you!

WISDOM!
Life is short, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.
Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly shouting, 'Wow! What a ride! Thank You, Lord!!
APHORISM:
1. The nicest thing about the future is that it always starts tomorrow.
2. Money will buy a fine dog, but only kindness will make him wag his tail.
3. If you don't have a sense of humor, you probably don't have any sense at all.
4. Seat belts are not as confining as wheelchairs.
5. A good time to keep your mouth shut is when you're in deep water.
6. How come it takes so little time for a child who is afraid of the dark to become a teenager who
wants to stay out all night.
7. Business conventions are important because they demonstrate how many people a company
can operate without.
8. Why is it that at class reunions you feel younger than everyone else looks?
9. Scratch a cat and you will have a permanent job.
10. No one has more driving ambition than the boy who wants to buy a car.

a Yugo.
19. After 50, if you don't wake up aching in every joint, you are probably dead!!
